Today I went to Hobby Lobby to buy embroidery floss to match what I've been using on my current project. I also wanted to get some stuff for a new design I've been working on. They had a lot of color choices but half of them were missing. I couldn't find the one I needed and I hope I'll be able to find it the next time I go. The stuff I've been using was leftover from my mom's craft closet and half of the tags are missing from the floss. I think most of it is DMC floss but there were a few random ones in there. One says J&P Coats and the other is Susan Bates Anchor?! I'll never find those around here. The only one Hobby Lobby carries is DMC, so if they have the missing colors in stock next time and I still can't find it I'll have to figure out something else for this... or postpone it indefinitely.
While I was there I also looked at cross stitch books and fabric. The books left much to be desired but I fell in love with some of the fabric I found while I was there. I see another quilt in my not so distant future. ^_^
